What are Possible Signs of Squamous Cell Skin Cancer?

Squamous cell carcinomas may appear as firm, red bumps, or as rough dry, scaly, flat areas that are reddish-brown, yellowish-black, or normal skin color and may itch, bleed, and form a crust.  In some cases, lesions of squamous cell carcinoma can be painful.
