Quality of Life

Programs researchers investigate the psychosocial aspects of cancer with the goal of improving patient outcomes. The research draws on extensive program expertise in psychiatry, psychology, endocrinology, immunology and oncology to study the effects of stress on patients living with cancer as well as different approaches for addressing end-of-life concerns. The Stanford Center on Stress and Health plays a critical role in this work.
