Description: Tobin currently serves as co-chair of the IRB for the Northern California Cancer Center. The IRB reviews proposals for research projects that involve participation by human subjects. These reviews are designed to ensure that research projects are designed to protect the participants who make the research possible and to ensure that they are informed about any risks that are involved in a research project.
