An endoscopic technique that eliminates gastroesophageal reflux disease would be of benefit to patients. The endoscopic delivery of radiofrequency energy to the porcine gastroesophageal junction was investigated and its effect on lower esophageal sphincter pressure, gastric yield pressure, and histology was assessed.
