Research InterestClinical research in cutaneous lymphomas, especially, mycosis fungoides; studies of prognostic factors, long-term survival results, and effects of therapies. Collaborative research with Departments of Pathology and Oncology in basic mechanisms of cutaneous lymphomas. Clinical trials of new investigative therapies for various dermatologic conditions or clinical trials of known therapies for new indications.

Research InterestInvestigates the targets of immune responses after human allogeneic stem cell transplantation. BMT patients develop antibodies against minor histocompatibility antigens (mHA) that are associated with chronic graft-v-host disease (cGVHD) and disease remission. Current projects: investigate Ab anti-tumor mechanism, high-throughput serologic identification of novel mHA in the development of GVHD and prevention of disease relapse, and clinical trials of B cell therapeutics for cGVHD.

Research InterestMy research interest is on immunotherapy of cancer. I have studies the mechanism of monoclonal antibody therapy of patients with lymphoma and am currently working on designing the next generation of engineered anti-tumor antibody based on the known mechanism to overcome resistance. I am also interested in tumor vaccine and plan to devise a novel strategy to use antibody-coated tumor cells/dendritic cells as a therpeutic vaccine.
