Cancer Survivorship Lecture Series:  Join us for insightful lectures at the Stanford Health Library on 211 Quarry Road, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.  There is no fee to attend as well as free parking!  Call 650-498-7826 or email cancersupportivecare@stanfordmed.org  to reserve your spot at these popular lectures.

Caregivers Workshop: A skills-based class designed to provide support, education, and resource materials to caregivers. Call (650) 725-9456 to register. 4:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesdays: January 22, March 26, June 25, August 27, October 22.

CSCP Healing Partners: A community-service program that provides FREE Healing Touch sessions to women diagnosed with breast cancer, regardless of where they are being treated, and at any stage of treatment or post treatment. Days, location, and time customized to the individual. Call (650) 725-9456 to register.

Mindfulness Meditation: This on-going class will teach you how to cope with stress and anxiety by learning proven stress-reduction techniques. Meditation experience not necessary, just drop in. 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm every Tuesday at Hoover Pavilion, 2nd Floor, Conference Room 208.

GI Caregivers Support Group: Any caregiver, loved one, friend or family member of someone experiencing a GI cancer is welcome. This group aims to provide a space for caregivers to ask questions, receive tips, and share their challenges and experiences. 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on the first Wednesday of the month: February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4.

GI Patient Support Group: This group is open to all patients with GI cancers. A monthly meeting will assist patients in dealing with the emotional aspects of having a GI cancer diagnosis. Topics of interest include Symptom Management, Coping, Nutrition, Clinical Trials and more. 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on the third Wednesday of the month: Jan 15, Feb 19, Mar 19, Apr 16, May 21, June 18.

Lymphedema: What You Need to Know: Patients who have undergone cancer treatments may be at risk for the development of Lymphedema. We’ll talk about risk reduction, early signs and symptoms, and steps you can take to be proactive in reducing your risk. Just drop in!  2:00 - 3:00 pm on second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, Women’s Cancer Center, Room W1084.

Music and Medicine: Join us in the lobby of the Cancer Center every Friday afternoon for music provided by Stanford PreMed and Medical School students. Let our volunteer musicians share their dedication and passion for music and medicine with you. 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm every Friday, Cancer Center Lobby.
