CyberKnife - Precise Radiation Treatment

Another example of Stanford Cancer Center's advanced medical technologies is the CyberKnife. This device is commonly used for treatment of tumors in the brain or the base of the skull. Physicians at the Stanford Cancer Center also have experience using the CyberKnife to treat cancers of the pancreas, prostate and lungs. CyberKnife is a unique radiation treatment first used at Stanford. Physicians use it primarily for treating tumors in the brain or the base of the skull.
