Brain Tumor Support Group

The Stanford Cancer Supportive Care Program and The National Brain Tumor Foundation are committed to supporting patients and families coping with the diagnosis of a brain tumor.  With a strong belief that support enhances and improves the quality of life for patients, survivors and their families, and that it may serve as an integral part of the recovery process, we have partnered together to offer a monthly support group for patients and their caregivers.  This support group is filled with people who have been where you are now - they have been diagnosed, gone through treatment, and are living as survivors.  Join us for straight talk about:  Treatments, New Research, Side Effects Management, Survivorship, and Community Resources.

When:  The last Monday of every month, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Dates:  July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26, November 30, December 28
Where:  Room CC2103 and CC2104, 2nd Floor, Stanford Cancer Center, 875 Blake Wilbur Dr.
Led by:  Joanie Taylor, RN, and Sharon Lamb, RN
