Information About Gynecological Cancers

Gynecologic cancers affect the female reproductive organs - including the cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries, uterus, vagina and vulva.

Each year about 40,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with uterine cancer, making it the most common gynecologic cancer.  Ovarian cancer is the second most common, with about 25,000 new cases each year.
