March 20-22, 2009
Silverado Resort and Spa • Napa, California
It is a pleasure to announce the 11th Annual Multidisciplinary Management of Cancers: A Case-Based Approach in March 2009. This is a unique CME meeting in its emphasis on case-oriented tumor boards. Space is limited, so if you would like to attend this educational symposium, please register at your earliest convenience.
This symposium will present the most current information on multidisciplinary approaches in clinical oncology, and will consist of tumor boards on breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, head and neck, hematologic malignancies, lymphoma and thoracic cancers, and panels on ethics, supportive and palliative care and dilemmas in patient management. Each tumor board will consist of case presentations by registrants and faculty, with discussion by a panel of surgical, radiation and medical oncologists from Stanford, UCSF, UC Davis and the practice community.
This course will be of interest to medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists. There are no prerequisites for this program. By the conclusion of the program, the attendees should be able to:
1. Summarize the current information on the clinical management of various cancers.
2. Describe new therapies involved in cancer clinical trials.
Stanford University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 14.5 hours in category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Registration for this event will open in August 2008.
