Classes for You and Your Caregiver
The experienced staff of the Stanford Blood and Marrow Transplant Program provide many educational and supportive activities to help prepare our patients and their caregiver for transplantation. Some of the available programs include:
- Teaching for Transplant
A class that reviews the transplant process, symptom management, low microbial diet and infection prevention. - Catheter Care and Self-Injection Class
This class teaches you how to care for your central venous catheter required for transplant and how to give injections. - Blood and Marrow Transplant Program Caregiver Support Classes
A series to learn more about the blood and bone marrow transplantation process and how to function as a caregiver.
